What's been happening in region 2?
A huge congratulations to Carol at FlowerTops Florist in Rhyl who has won Florist of the Year at the Wales Prestige Awards 2023/2024.
The Prestige Awards were launched to celebrate businesses and individuals that consistently offer excellent products in their local area. Finalists are nominated by Prestige readers and the winners are decided by an expert judging panel.
Carol was presented with a certificate and trophy in honour of her fantastic achievement. Well done!

And another big shout out goes to Skelmersdale Flower Centre who have been named a finalist for Best Wedding Florist at Little White Books’ Great Northern Wedding Awards.
The awards are back this year after a little break and the last time they were held in 2020, the shop only just missed out on the top spot but were recognised as ‘Highly Commended’ - an amazing achievement in itself.
The winners for 2024 will be announced in April so we’ve got all our fingers and toes crossed for you.

We’ve switched up our Coffee, Cake & Connect meetings a little bit. Steve will still be holding regular regional events in person and he’d love to see you there, but our Business Development Team will now also be hosting virtual meetings for ALL florists, regardless of region, every week.
