What's been happening in region 1?
We’re biased but one of our favourite things about you, our wonderful florists, is that you’re all local businesses serving your local communities. Our high street heroes! And we just love it when we see you collaborating with other local businesses to make even more beautiful things happen for customers in your area.
Region 1’s very own Flowercraft (aka our social media stars) teamed up with another small business in Newcastle, Le Mini Macaron to create the ultimate romantic bundles. A bouquet of gorgeous blooms, a hand-written card AND a box of mouth-watering macarons… who could resist?
Fabulous options for your customers to encourage more orders AND great promotion for both businesses, reaching even more people. Just stunning!
Happy Sweet Sixteen to Flowers by Suzy Liu in Glasgow who celebrated, you guessed it, 16 years of trading at the end of January. Owner Suzy is super proud for making it this far: “I remember opening the doors all those years ago, wondering if anyone would come in and thinking I’ll give it a year and see what happens! I remember that very first sale. 16 years later and I’m still here.” Congratulations on your fantastic achievement.

A huge congrats to The Flower Shop in Peterhead who have been named a finalist for Florist of the Year at the Top Tier Wedding Awards, which recognise and reward the highest quality suppliers and venues in the North of Scotland. The winners will be announced at a glitzy ceremony taking place this weekend in Aberdeen - we’ve got all our fingers and toes crossed for you. Good luck!

We’ve switched up our Coffee, Cake & Connect meetings a little bit. Rachel will still be holding regular regional events in person and she’d love to see you there, but our Business Development Team will now also be hosting virtual meetings for ALL florists, regardless of region, every week.
